Placement Made: Handler Announces Fordham Plastics Territory Manager-Georgia Search
ATLANTA, GA. – January 18, 2022
Handler announces the launch of an executive search for Fordham Plastics Equipment Corporation to hire a Territory Manager, Georgia. The ideal professional will play a pivotal role in building the sales and developing relationships with key contacts with plastics manufacturers across the Georgia region. He/she will be responsible for establishing contact with senior staff members within a business in operations, maintenance, plant management, and engineering.
In this impactful role, you will identify and work with existing clients and prospective clients to understand their business needs and potential revenue generating opportunities. You will grow the Georgia territory by representing top of the line manufacturers within the injection molding and plastics industry.
The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of business experience with at least 5 years of sales experience in the plastics industry with a preference towards capital equipment. This exceptional sales leader should have a demonstrated track record in new business development and long-term customer relationship development. Specifically, we seek a candidate with the following:
- Develop/ implement a sales plan to meet and exceed sales goals
- Prospecting – Research and target new accounts through existing accounts, networking, and industry events
- Provide support and service through technical “know-how” and expertise
- Generate repeat business by fostering long-term relationships with customers
- Distinctive ability to understand a customer’s needs and provide a consultative approach to selecting the appropriate products and solutions to service that need
- Diligence in follow up and maintaining a high level of activity that will support superior relationship development
A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred; Other disciplines considered if accompanied by a strong record of demonstrated technical experience and capabilities within the sales discipline.
