Handler Announces Search for Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Municipal Emergency Services
ATLANTA, GA. – April 18, 2024
We are pleased to announce Handler’s launch of a search for Municipal Emergency Services (MES) to hire a Senior Vice President, Human Resources located in Sandy Hook, Connecticut.
Municipal Emergency Services, Inc. is the largest distributor of firefighting and emergency response equipment to fire departments and first responders in the United States.
As part of the leadership team, the SVP of Human Resources is responsible for strategic and operational HR guidance across the organization. This person will lead the HR team to deliver professional support to the organization while fostering the desired workforce culture through MES’s policies, programs, and practices. They will become the administrator for HR programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, compliance, policy administration, disciplinary matters, performance management, and salary administration.
The ideal candidate will possess 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in HR, demonstrating expertise in building and overseeing all facets of HR operations within a multi-state organization with at least 500 employees.
We seek a high-energy working leader who excels in the fast-paced environment of private equity, with proficiency in managing and integrating mergers and acquisitions.
